As a devoted Chelsea fan, it's hard to forget the turmoil the club faced in 2022. A complete overhaul of the hierarchy led to significant instability, with management struggling to steer the ship. Even now, the club's direction has been inconsistent. My worst Champions League experience was the 2023 Quarter-Finals clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid. Under Frank Lampard, Chelsea's performance was dreadful. Sacrificing sleep for two consecutive weeks to watch such uninspired football was truly disheartening as a fan. Their playstyle was abysmal, often losing possession against Madrid in a complete capitulation. The aggregate 4-0 defeat felt like a true low point for the club. Thankfully, Enzo Maresca has since brought a fresh approach, transforming the team's tactics. ChelseaFC UCL ChampionsLeague RealMadrid Football
