FC Den Bosch Youth Players Linked to Brutal Assault Case
Youth players from FC Den Bosch are reportedly involved in a severe assault on Duke Barning (21) on November 11 in Den Bosch. The victim was brutally attacked and nearly kicked to death during carnival celebrations. This incident has drawn significant attention to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie club. Barning recounted his harrowing experience, describing being wrestled to the ground and deliberately kicked in the head. His girlfriend, Britt Wauben (17), witnessed the attack, crediting two bystanders with saving Duke's life. He suffered a skull injury and now endures constant severe headaches and inflamed sinuses, impacting his ability to work and concentrate. Sources confirm three recently arrested suspects are FC Den Bosch youth players, although the club denies removing them from its website for this reason. FC Den Bosch stated it is "aware of a case that may involve individuals active in the youth academy." The club is awaiting police investigation results, promising consequences for any negative involvement. Police confirmed two 18-year-olds and one 19-year-old were questioned and released, but remain suspects. Investigations continue into the multiple individuals involved in the violence. The prosecutor is considering releasing camera footage to identify other suspects. FCDenBosch KeukenKampioenDivisie FootballNews AssaultCase
